The most scootfull day yet. After a hearty breakfast with Gina (homemade muffins, juicing everything in the fridge, boiled eggs and tea for two),
I watered the community garden then hit the gas station, filled the Majesty up and asked some local Harley riders which route to ride.

Being a Sunday, sunny and summer, they pointed me to the route 16 east, the Yellowhead. It was quiet and lovely and I cruised over 600 kms with ease and enjoyment. The only reason I even stopped tonight was that the deer were coming out in the dark... so I checked into a cheap motel in Neepawa, Manitoba. Neepawa is a Cree word meaning abundance and is famous for its lilies and its old cemetary. It's just 200 kms out of Winnipeg. Things are get interesting regarding routes, as there are many choices as to which country and road to travel through. Still without using the GPS or a map, I'm confident that asking locals will continue to prove fruitful and delighful. If you have any suggestions as to which way to go ... where to stop... who to visit ... where to stay... do let me know on the blog or contact page. thanx. enjoy the pictures and videos.
